OCCT-20-years

Oregon Coast Children’s Theatre Style

Using puppetry, mask and other theatrical effects OCCT productions use imaginative ways as part of the storytelling traditions of our theatre. In 2008 as part of our Summer Youth Theatre Productions we presented the American Premiere of
Ronia, the Robber’s Daughter by Astrid Lindgren. Pictured below are Matt and his robber’s , Matt is Ronia’s father and the leader of the band of robbers.  Also pictured are the two stars of the show Jesse King as Birk and  Kimberly Anderson as Ronia.  Also pictured are the Rumphobs diminutive little trolls who live in the mountains around the robber’s kingdom.

In 2009 we presented a “Trio of Tales” using two stories by the Brothers Grimm including the “Singing Bones”.  pictured are Jesse and Wyatt King as the knight and squire as part of the singing bones, along with our dragon puppet.
